FAQ's

Q: Do you need a deposit once I have booked?
A: We do require a deposit of £150 to secure the requested date in our diary for your wedding photographer. This deposit is non refundable.

Q: What happens if the weather is really bad on the day of our wedding?
A: I will always visit the venue prior to the date of the wedding to look for the best places for your wedding photography if there is bad weather on the day. I am also prepared to revisit the venue at a later date if you have any specific photos outside that you had your heart set on.

Q: Do we need to provide you with a meal during the wedding breakfast?
A: No, Whilst many photographers insist on this I believe that you already have enough to pay for and bring my own food and drink.

Q: When are we able to meet for the pre wedding consultation?
A: I am very flexible as to when we can meet to discuss the wedding photography , whether you wish to have the consultation straight away or wait until you have everything else booked and organised or even if you wish to have more than one, I am happy to accommodate.

Q: What happens at the pre wedding consultation?
A: For me as a wedding photographer the consultation is very important, not just to get information such as timings and locations, but more importantly to get to know you better and get an idea of what you like and expect of me as a photographer.

Q: Are you prepared to travel outside Durham?
A: Absolutely, whilst I cover the entire North East at no extra cost, travelling further may incur costs for travel and accommodation. I am also very happy (very very happy) to travel abroad for location weddings so please contact me for a quote.

Q: How long does it take to get the photos after the wedding?
A: Our aim is to have all the photos edited and sent to you within 3 weeks of your wedding date, at peak times this may take longer but we will keep you informed at all times.

Q: How long does it take to get our wedding album?
A: We aim to get all albums to you within 2 months of your wedding. This does take longer than the wedding photos as we need to first edit the images and then design the album, finally all of the albums are handmade and this process can take a while especially in the summer months but in the worst case it should still take no longer than 3 months.

Q: Are you insured:
A: Yes we are fully insured.

Q: What happens if we lose our wedding photos or the wedding album
A: Don't worry, we keep several copies of all of your images and will never delete them so you can contact us at anytime if you need more copies or another wedding album.

Q: We don't need a photographer for very long, can you cater for this?
A: Of course, if you don't see what you need in any of our packages then please contact us for a quote to cover exactly what you need.
